Queen Latifah Talks Paris Jackson on ‘Star’

Queen Latifah wasn’t on set the day Paris Jackson filmed her top secret guest role on “Star,” (…or so she says) but was pretty confident that executive producer and creator Lee Daniels got a solid performance out of Michael Jackson’s daughter for her acting debut.

“He just shot her scene yesterday and everybody said she was amazing. So I can’t wait for the audience to see her,” Latifah said during a phone interview Monday.

Details of Jackson’s role or how long it will last is still under wraps.

“I’m really thankful that we’re creating a project that that people really want to be a part of and I think people are going to be impressed by what Paris Jackson shows,” Latifah told us, giving no further details.

 

Queen Latifah não estava no set de gravação no dia em que Paris Jackson filmou sua participação secreta em "Star" (... dizendo ela), mas mostrou bastante confiança de que o produtor executivo e criador Lee Daniels conseguiu um bom desempenho da filha de Michael Jackson na sua  estreia como atriz.

"Ele gravou a cena ontem e todos disseram que ela foi incrível. Então não vejo a hora do público vê-la", disse Latifah durante uma entrevista por telefone na segunda-feira.

Detalhes sobre o papel da Paris ou quanto tempo vai durar a participação ainda é segredo.

"Estou muito grata por estarmos criando um projeto que as pessoas realmente querem fazer parte e acho que as pessoas vão ficar impressionadas com Paris", disse Latifah, sem dar mais detalhes.
